Louis D'Souza of Brisbane/Arrarim mentioned last evening that the lobbie
(seven-tiles, Goan style) tourney is very on this weekend, Sunday May
16, 2010 at the Saligao Institute court from 4 pm onwards.
It's a kind of an old-time-sake tourney, specially for those who used to
play this game there in the 1970s! (We will miss you Quentin... and you
know why I'm saying it!)
Apparently, it's a kind of "seniors game". As Louis put it, you have to
be either bald or grey to take part. (For the rest, wheat flour or
talcum powder would do.)
Lawrie (Green Bar) seemed all set for it, generously offering to be the
referee! As if his slim body cannot take the wear.... CA Gladston has
confirmed his participation too. Be there please!
