People talk about saligao related issues but no one is ready to give a
solution. Our roads have become narrow, (why ?) our underground electrical
cables are singing "Requem ante paxhe ' transformers have become rusty,
telephones not working. The road going to the seminary is suffering from the
last stage of cancer .These issues have to tackled first. I do not know who is
going to do the job but I appreciate the way the comsumers" cell in saligao is
functioning. They are doing a very good job. There was a time when the
electrican had connected the life wire to the earth wire and as a result some
houses received 400 watt electricity power and that burnt their electrical
goods. No compensation was paid. The reason is we do not have time to go to the
consumer's forum. We ought to know our rights and duties. We do not have to know
whther the pope lived in salmona or muddavaddi .The road near the govt primary
school has become so dangerous that one does not know if we are going to be
alive to reach the other end of the road and need traffic signal lights. we
have to force the government to install these and policeman too. The speed
breakers are not painted white and one can go for a toss in Cotula area. This
has to be taken with the PWD .Albert
