Hi M & M,

Wow!!  Those vauchibhaji leaves are enormous!!!  Good idea to compare their
size
with something else, so one gets a good idea of their real (amazing) size.

Also, great to know of all the projects happening around Goa - obviously in
high
demand.  The organizers of such programs might be open to the idea of repeats,
seeing as there are so many people interested.

I know I haven't kept in touch in a while.  Now the summer's here, I should
have
a little more free time on my hands.  Hope everything's well on the home
front.
Love to all the family.

Take care, and will write more detail soon.

Patsy

Subject: [SALIGAONET] Pity There's No Place...But All The Best Anyway!

Dear Goa Porsumkars,

It is great to see the swelling numbers at events like the "One Day
Workshop on Kitchen Gardening, the Organic Way" at Goa Chitra,
tomorrow.

Our daughter Tarika called Victor Hugo only to find out that they are
booked way over the 50 seats available.

Congrats to Eulalia, Victor and their team of organisers.  This is
success in excess of all expectations!  'Earthworm' had amply ushered
in this trend with their grossly over attended workshop, recently.

Sending a pic of our organic 'valchi/vauchi bhaji', since we cannot be
there with the real thing.  This strain of the creeper far from
creeps.  It runs riot on the ground, fed only on EM-composted garden
and kitchen waste.  The CD is 'centered' in to show the size of the
leaves.

All the best to the organisers, resource people and participants alike
as we all learn to increase the size of our individual 'foodprints' in
our villages, Goa and the planet.

Warm regards and much solidarity.

Muriel, Mario, Tarika & Suhail.

PS:  Drop in for free seeds or cuttings of the giant Saligao strain
;-) of this iron, calcium, protein and vitamin filled variety of
'Basella Alba', or 'Malabar Spinnach'.  M&M.
