Those were the days...
Groups within Saligao itself competing between themselves first....
and then at the Mando Festivals. So many living Maestros then.
BTW, our great Saligao Maestro Senhor Nicholas Sequeira is presently
Holidaying here in the United Arab Emirates. Yes ! I met him in person.
I suspect there must be some good reason he is here.
Surely, he must be having something lined up for the Mando Festival
Competition I guess?
He surely made a great contribution to our Abu Dhabi Catholic Community,on
the music front.
Abu Dhabi's loss is Saligao's gain.
One man I know who quit this great El Dorado land on his own terms
didnt wait to retire or get thrown out. Yes! he was in a hurry to be back
in our great Saligao.
(Nick, if your are listening in.....No flattery here.....but you owe me a
Christmas Drink !!!.... ;)
