Only now am I able to place this family, if it's the same one I'm thinking of - who lived beside/behind (somewhat) Peter and Philo D'Souza's and Donald Sequera's homes. The childrens names did sound familiar, but did not ring a bell until now. One of the girls, (I think it could be Bernadette) was in class with me at LCHS.

Read Rico's mail on "Garage Sale" (these Sales take place here quite often, but I have been to only one - one can pick up really good stuff for a good price - not expensive.) Knew Mrs. Luizinha Vaz very well as also her late sister Mrs. Ritinha Heredia who used to give our son an oil massage the one year that she met him with the firm hope that he would be well. & of course, who doesnt know Terrence (Fr. Rosario) & guess Mrs. Vaz other children too. Our condolences to the entire family! In fact I also shared the same surname - Vaz before I became a D'Souza! The meat masala that we now have in our kitchen & keep preparing here everytime & use the same, is a result of Mrs. Luizinha informing us the correct ingredients & relevant weight of each when we visited her in Arrarim many many years ago for the same purpose.
