I wish you, Pamela, the kids and your father Tony a very
Happy Feast of Mae de Deus. It was great to learn that there was once held the
cancelation of stamps at Saligao. Kudos to Mr. Kamat for giving us great news.
Surely it is a part of history of some sort that I was ignorant about. Much
thanks. However there was the cancellation of the first day cover as well as
two stamps( one grey and the black ) of Dr. Claudio da Gama Pinto in the
Central Post Office , Panjim on 31st May, 1953, and also naming a road in
Panjim in memory of Dr. Gama Pinto I have the story in the Book " Land of the
sal tree". Yhanks for all that you do for all of us.
