Our saligao church office is commercialised like the Mamlatdar's office. If some one wants a baptism certificate or buirial certificate the answer that one gets Vem amanha. Come tomorriow, or come after 8 days and if you are lucky then come at 12.30 pm. Parish priests should have a sense of feelings and not think about themselves. I wanted a baptism certificate. I came all the way from Mapuca and reached there at 10 am. I was told that the certificate would be ready only at 12.30 pm. It was a really an act of frustration. Since it would be useless discussing with the parish priest I walked away. Would Jesus do such a thing if He was the parish priest of Saligao ? No never. I am not asking the parish priest to climb Himalayas but only requesting him to become a human being and think like a human being. Albert
