Dear Gerard and Eknath Good idea, to shift the talk to the Panchayat Hall. Besides the Panchayat Notice Board, a rickshaw to announce the event, would help a lot.
A notice to the temples / chapels / church and of course a few A4 sized posters at the usual places in the village would complete the announcement exercise.
