Yes there was a pharmacy existing at bobo's inn. I am not talking of bobo's inn
which is bar but the house where the bank of india existed later. It was called
bambolkar's pharmacy and for sometime it was run by Ganpat Bambolkar and later
on by one Shripad Naik from Siolim. It was run in the name of Ruzarin Cordeiro
who was the technical director as she was a qualified pharmacist. Even her
husband was a trained pharmacist and had a pharmacy in his name I think in
Panjim. albert

something that albert said below just struck me. was there another
pharmacy in saligao before the Fernandes chemists at the panchayat
ghor? would someone care to throw light? something that I didint
know.

Sorry to hear of the demise of Mrs. Cordeiro, we pray for
the repose of her soul.
I seem to have known Mrs. Cordeiro for years! - I last met
her in December 2011 at Marshals' place (her neighbour)
& she seemed quite well & definitely had a good
memory as remembered us. Sad that her Maker took her away
from her family & Saliganvkars before she reached the
century. If I am not mistaken, very few in Saligao have
celebrated their 100th birthday with their family...one of
whom was my neighbour Mr. Figueredo.
We offer our condolences to Annette, Anton, Mario &
their respective families.
