*BSG announces its 20th Annual Home Garden Competition 2013* http://www.smore.com/c28f-bsg-s-home-garden-competition-2013 Do you have a winning home garden? Enter the Botanical Society of Goa's 20th Annual Home Garden Competition. Whether you grow flowers, ornamental plants or vegetables and fruit, we'd love to see your garden! You can enter one or both of the competitions below by selecting which category you fall into: *1. ORNAMENTAL GARDENS* a) Totally amateur and self-maintained garden of the competitor; and b) Professionally assisted for design and/or maintenance. There will be bonus points for combining it with kitchen gardens, composting and recycling of waste water. Use of conventional fertilizers and pesticides allowed for this category. *PRIZES Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 & Rs. 2,000 for First, Second and Third place* *2. ORGANIC KITCHEN GARDENS* a) Totally amateur and self-maintained garden of the competitor; and b) Professionally assisted for design and/or maintenance.
