We can get power from renewable energy source like wind power, solar energy, human waste, etc as opposed to fossil fuels. People will go for renewable energy if Government provides 30 - 50 pct subsidy and in the long run each village will be self sufficent in power generation. Government should invest in research to tap this renewable energy so it is affordable for everyone. In Israel on top of the most buildings you will notice solar panels tapping solar energy. We too can implement this method with the govt. support and subsidy.
Saligao village can become a model village for renewable energy if our Minister/Panchayat takes initiative by giving subsidy for villagers who are interested in it. Kindly share your views on this renewable energy.
