Dear JaniceYour mom was a jewel. She went out of the way to help others. She
was the one who would volunter to even dress a dead body. I really remembered
her when my mom died and people around my building none of them knew to dress
my mom after she died. She was expert in making wines. She used to tell luiza
to come over and that she would teach her how to make wine but somehow luiza
did not get time to visit her. People from Sonarbhat will be missing aunty
Peggy when they go seranading. Two people are associated with Sonarbhat chapel
Serenade one is your mom who would even go to the extent of boiling lot of
grams, decorating the chapel etc etc and the other was Titus uncle whose
presence was a must for the sonarbhatt feast. One feels the importance of a
person when he or she is dead. I am missing Louella very much. She was a loving
girl and would always stop to ask me how I am. I do not want to make you sad
.albert

So many people in saligao have died. I remember many of them. difficult to
write their names here. I remember Vincy cordeiro, Salus Sequeira, Not
forgetting ignatius de souza Nolasco de souza . Joe Saldanha, Lawry. Michael de
souza from Nigvaddo all these were associated with our saligao institute. When
ever I pass by Salmona I remember my most beloved friend Alfred. He would wave
out from a distance and I used to find in him all intellegence and smiles. In
salmona I remember also Pat Lobo. Very soft spoken man. I never heard him
criticising someone. it was purely one to one talk. Coming to Sonarbatt. One
would not miss aunty Peggy. Sitting on the bench and having tete a tete with
her was a pleasent thing. I still remember her smiles and her lovely face. Her
husband uncle Anthony was a nice person. I admired his base voice. He was a
good bridge player too. Clayton's death was a bit of a shock to me. Then Gil
Lobo from cotula etc etc . The list is endless. How can I end this without
remember our friend Henry cooper ? With is broken konkani we used to enjoy his
company. He would get down from his cycle to talk to me . If I missed him by
any chance he would come to me and say " Tum vodlem zalai atam. Tum vodlem
teacher num ? "Albert de souza
