Full Marks to Sarpanch Eknath Oraskar and our Die Hard and very Vocal Activist Mr. Mario Mascarenhas for keeping Alive the Issue of Garbage and Cleanliness in our dear Village of Saligao. Full Marks Indeed !
I am a die hard Optimist myself, but frankly in this case I hope the Momentum goes on till Kingdom come.. Quit Eknath or if he's forced out, what happens then...............? I visualize Saligao getting back to "like before" and even all the Apparatus Provided gone Missing. I have lived amongst people from every part of the World for so long. Yes, Talk about Cleanliness and Civic Sense we Indians are among the best. are'nt we.? Like saying.....Difficult to be Potty Trained at this age....but yes...better late than Never Garbage and Cleanliness in Saligao is only a temporary issue to me. Like some Ointment for Pimples? does anyone believe me? Mario, we have more serious issues which concern each and every Saliganvkar Garbage Atop our Hill and a Playground for our Youth. It beats me why no one bangs on these Vital and Perennial issues which have to be addressed ASAP. All Activists please Channelise your voices and energies !! Mr. Eknath and Mr Mario and all else too, We have on our side, our own Saligao MLA and Minister Mr. Dileep Parulekar WE have a Sarpanch who has both on his Party and his side too Mr. Parulerkar and Mr, Michael Lobo, MLA of Calangute too. the Chief Minister is on his side too. Wow ! so many of them indeed !! History would definitely not forgive and forget Mr. Eknath and all of us too if we do not seize the opportunity to address and permanently Fix both these Perennial Issues for the Well being of our Village Community.
