Dear Nettekaram, Saligao's Salmona Spring has been contaminated by the effluent from Calangute's unimaginably large garbage dump, just above. The water has been tested by govt. agencies and certified unfit by for human consumption.
Along with GoaCan, may we all ask ourselves... What is our response as Saligaokars? What is the Panchayat's response? Individually, what is MLA Dilip Parulekar's response? And Sarpanch Eknath's response? If he still reads his Saligaonet posts, what was ex-MLA, ex-Dy. Chief Minster and ex-Chief Minister Dr. Wilfred D'Souza's response all these years when he was 'in power' and what is his response now? Surely he still cares about his village... What is the response of all those who stood for elections from Saligao constituency - like Trajano D'Mello, Pauly Fernandes, Tulio D'Souza and others?
