who knows if the government hasnt already started the process to acquire the land using the emergency clause? the land would be acquired by then.

there are several ways for the GTP to go ahead even if this materialised
1) the land proposed to be acquired from the saligao communidade is ONLY for the approach road - and is about 15% of the total land proposed to be aquired. the remaaining land is ALL from calanagute communicade which has already given its NOC.

2)They shift the road access from Saligao, to another location (say from Boa viagim in calangute) - the site will remain the same, and we will have no say.


This bill being passed will have no implications on the proposed GTP. it may affect a larger project like the upcoming MOPA international airport, but not us.
