Dear Clean Saligaokaram ani Waste Management Committee of Saligao Panchayat, A few of us have been meeting with Sarpanch Eknath Oraskar on various issues. Garbage is one of them. The original waste disposal system that 'Clean Saligao' and the Waste Management Committee had designed - see attachments - has faded a bit into the background. Many have said that it is the best system in Goa, that any village has so far designed...not to mention the Clean Saligao anthem, sung to the tune of Amka Zai!...also attached. All we have to do is go back to our roots. Back to basics.
