Door to door collection of Dry waste was suppose to start from 1st November onwards. Its just been postponed and will start from 7th November onwards. Logistic problems. Please bear with us.

Full Awarness programme is planned.

I hope the days of getting this garbage collected and dumped on the hill are over
read in yesterdays papers, that form 1st nov, door to door collection is starting in saligao. is this true??? and if so, what is the awareness level on segregation?

stop burning of plastic in Goa, toxic gas emissions are poisoning land, water, people and all living organisms at breakneck speed.

Even little birds have been found dead high up in their nests closeby to where plastic waste has been burnt due to poisonous emissions !!

This is a great environmental man-made disaster that is totally out of control and is affecting thousands of peoplein Goa !

DIOXIN GAS is being emitted from this slow burning plastic fire that smolders and burns sometimes for days on end. This poison - gas is slowly released into the air, and dioxins also leach into the ground and water.

People are already falling ill, plastic burning at low temperature emits Dioxin; the 2nd most deadly poison after nuclear waste.

It effects all living organisms and the surrounding environment.. it causes cancer, heart attacks, infertility, asthma, migraines and other neurological problems etc..
