There was a video about this tragic incident that was uploaded on the internet
by one Mr. Croydon D'Souza.I am glad that the video has been finally pulled
down by its owner, and I hope that some 2600 + people who shared this video,
will also do the same.
I am not doubting the integrity or intentions of Croydon. I did follow a couple
of his posts, and he seems to be a genuine guy who set out to seek justice for
the victim.But the least that could have be done, was to blur out the body of
the victim.
I can only empathize and imagine the devastating effect that video may have on
the victim's wife, children and loved ones, if they have viewed it.
Rest in Peace, Shiva.

CALANGUTE: A resident of Saligao died on the spot after the two-wheeler he was
riding was hit by a car early on Tuesday morning on the Chogm road.
Saligao police said Shiva Kalangutkar, 50, was on his way to the petrol
pump near the Saligao church to fill petrol when he was knocked down by
a car being driven by Kamal Arora, 42, a native of Delhi, residing at
Nova Cidade Complex in Porvorim. Kalangutkar died on the spot.
Eyewitnesses said that the car was being driven at a high speed and
landed into a paddy field nearby after ramming into the two-wheeler
rider.
Concerned residents demanded that police should be
posted with breath analysers on the stretch due to frequent cases of
rash riding by tourists.
Saligao police have arrested Kamal Arora under Sections 379, 338 and 304-A of
the Indian Penal Code.
