Rico is right,about the veerapan, for a while I too was stumped😞 though I did see two email IDs at the same time 7 another name or was that someone else? heroes.....etc. (1) The Ninette Lobo spoken about in your mail, Stephen.... is a different person from the one I know - the Saliganvkar who stayed in Saligao .... dont remember her staying in Panjim or Calcutta & this one only took off for Bombay when she married years & years ago. (2) With regard to relatives & news regarding Saliganvkars in Burma, you should contact the huge Vaz family some of whom are staying on the "Bandar" of Arrarim - directly across the fields from Lourdes Convent High School. The older family members might remember people & details...... - Isa Vaz or her brother inlaw - Peter Vaz (Donvaddo) would be a safer bet since he is in his 90's now but mentally spry. One of the Vaz family is Yvonne Vaz but cant recall her married surname, on Saligaonet all know her as Yvonne. & the Vaz family members I referred to are her aunt & uncle. (3) You could probably get the email addresses & details of the well-known D'Cruz & the Saldanhas (Edwin Saldanha's progeny are scattered in America & Canada) from the address list of SaligaoNet if there is access to it.(4) There is another Edwin Saldanha I remember, & I recall him & his brother Henry, there was another but I am getting "memory corrupt" nowadays (age playing up) - they stayed in Arrarim -they were musicians but dont know if they still stay there.
