He died at the age of +90 at 1.05 am today 4 February. He is survived by Cleta, having shared a +62 year marriage with his wife. His family were always close to him and his granddaughter Nadera spent the night at his side – singing, talking and praying with him till just an hour before he died. Hilary specialised in endocrinology with a special interest in diabetes. He founded the Diabetes Association in Goa under the wing of the Rotary Club of Mapusa. He has written a series of articles on diabetes which I am sharing. Please feel free to read and share the book as necessary with your friends and relatives who may have the dreadful disease. I am getting the book published as an ebook but it is taking time (16 months and counting) so taking the liberty of sharing the last edition with you.
