40 mtrs is too far from the junction. Enough distance for people to speedup again and ram into someone at the junction - should be less than 10 mtrs.
Even the speed breaker near Shirodkar Bar in Arradi , does not serve the purpose, as it is quite far from the junction. Vehicles coming down the pilerne slope are already speeding by the time they reach the junction. Vehicles approaching from Nigvaddo have to be extra cautious , especially when turning right towards Pilerne.
