Christopher, there have been fits and starts, spurts and lows. After the
passing of the Groundwater Act, there was a lull in the water tanker
activity. I am aware that this is not a new activity. I'm asking whether
the activity has stepped up sharply in the last few days, and if so,
whether anyone is aware of any reasons?

Being half a world away, maybe my question might have not made sense to
you: "Am I the only one noticing a *spate of water tankers* carrying water
out of the village *these days*?"
