We had some serious electricity problem at home, with a number of electronic and electrical appliances malfunctioning or, worse still, getting burnt out. Some years back, we had a similar problem with our computers repeatedly browned out.
Last time, the problem was sorted out when we complained persistently, and the Electricity Department came over to check. They did a thorough check of the lines leading to our home and managed to detect the fault on one of the poles. The fault lay outside our home, but kept affecting us. A complaint via email to the Electricity Department [email protected], drew a response, with copies being sent to some other officials.
