Incidentally, my neighbour Nicholas Sequeira also told me the other day that the Saligao BSNL exchange has poor battery back-up (to take care of power outages). So when the electricity fails, we lose our Net too! I see no reason for this poor service when we in Saligao pay urban-level charges. Why should we be given sub-rural facilities? FN
