Dear friends on Saligao -net, today I think was the hottest day and no rain in sight - only very bright sunshine . I remember in my young days my grandmother used to pray to saint Anthony along with our neighbours. We need proper rain for our fields and our wells to get re-purified . Also dry spells like this could cause sicknesses and disease . Also feast of Saint John the Baptist is on Saturday and our church is organising the Vangodd de Saligao ( unity festival dont forget to wear your home-made kopels ) but if there is no rain I dont know what will happen please let us all pray for rain thanks and God Bless you Melwyn
