@FN, I completely agree - such astronomical fees just to enable children to learn from the resources that are available freely [e.g. Khan Academy, Coursera et al] is not a solution.
@Patsy, exactly my point - just put some good quality computers and good internet connection in schools and see the response for at least 1-2 years to arrive at a decision on how helpful it is - that investment is much less when calculated per student.
