Dear Saligaocars,
There is an appeal for financial aid from Mrs. Muthu residing in Donvaddo for
her daugher Corvy Muthu who has an Atrial Septal Deffect (a heart condition)
that has to be corrected surgically.
In the following letter to his parishioners our Parish Priest, Fr. Francisco
Ataide has asked the people to help.

I do hereby declare that Miss Corvy Muthu is my parishioner, of the Parish of
Saligao. She needs to be operated for heart, and the operation is urgent.
She is to be operated in Bombay.
I've known her family and can say that they are not at all in a position to
foot the expenses to be incurred, which amonts to lacs of rupees.
I would be pleased and much grateful if a sabstantial amount be given to the
family. Miss Corvy Muthu is a resident of Donvaddo.
