28 June- Saligao News .--Sr Tereza Pereira , F.M.C.K is the new Eucharistic minister at St. Anne’s chapel replacing Sr. Lily F.M.C.K who will be the Eucharistic minister at Mae de Deus Church Sr. Lily also joins as member of the Pastoral Parish Council-Saligao. --Ex-Student Association of Lourdes Convent has chosen a new Committee : President: Sr. Lily F.M.C.K.the Headmistress Vice-president: Ms. Fatima D’Cruz. Secretary: Ms. Dhanuska D’Gama Treasurer:Ms. Stepnie D’Souza. --The Ayurvedic Natural Health Centre( ANHC) is under the expert supervision of 5 Ayurvedic Physicians including 4 lady doctors. The whole team is headed by Dr. Swarup Satardekar from Vasco-da- Gama. She is the Chief Medical Officer at ANHC. The team of doctors have undergone a Doctorate of five years and half and are Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. ANHC has a team of 25 trained Therapists( male and female) who have undergone special training for administering treatment to International Tourists. Most of the therapists hail from traditional Ayurvedic Family. Mr. Bruno Fernandes from Aldona is the Managing Director of ANHC-Saligao. --- Mater Dei Institution- Saligao, a matchless seat of learning, was founded by Mr. Anacleto F.X. Lobo as far back as in 1909. It celebrated its platinum jubilee in 1984 and will be crossing the landmark century in roughly five years from now.
