Hmm! Reminds me of days gone by when we used to attend Feast Mass in the morning, visit the stall till afternoon before "bada khana"(did I get the spelling right?), watch the football match at "Oula" in the evening before dinner, & enjoy the Feast Dance at night. What a fantastic day! Each minute was well spent whether at home with family or outside with friends. Lucky people, all of you there.
No Foxes Nite this time?
This time Mae De Deus Feast falls on Labour Day,.... too bad you all missed the Labour Day holiday, (are you getting a compensatory holiday in lieu?) we are off tomorrow - yipeee! However, we are at work today after a hectic but enjoyable weekend. Got a chance to receive blessings from the Bishop of Diocese of Arabia & kissed his ring. He was in Bahrain to administer the sacrament of Confirmation yesterday to children of our friends. However, noticed that the light "slap" on cheek was not given! Luwell & I were honoured to stand near him as we were sponsors to 2 children. We got a few snaps too. Lucky us! Met a lot of Goenkars but just a couple of Saligaokars. Looks like most of the Saligaokars here are already Soldiers of Christ.
The Saligaokars in UK & Canada must be getting set for their celebration tomorrow, being a weekend.
Once again, Happy Feast!. Have a holy, prayerful, (remember me in your prayers when you receive blessings at mass) enjoyable & exciting day!
