Some sad news - Mervyn Phillips, Chief Engg., expired of a heart attack at sea near Iran on Sat, 2nd July '05. He is the son of Cajie & Silvie Phillips of Salmona (Mahim, Mumbai), b/o Coleen, Glen (Emirates, Dubai), Giselle (Saudi) & Norman (Dubai).
He was on holiday in Goa in May, when we last met up. He had just resumed ship on 15th June. He lived life to it's fullest. With his outstanding voice (never needed a mike) he entertained everyone with his songs & guitar. I'll always remember Mervyn as the life of every party & the jolliest cousin.
