Hello,

From: Muriel & Mario <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Saligao has quite a few Vipassana meditators with a regular
group-sitting every Sunday afternoon from 3-4 pm, at Blanche
Saldanhas house in Sonarbhatt.

Really? Oh this is news for me as A.Blanche didnt mention anything when I was at her place in January. I might have attended once to see what was involved.

Vipassana is a simple practice to maintain regular mental
hygiene, by cleaning out the stress and tension, toxins and
garbage that is daily generated in ones mind.

Dont know exactly how this is done but I believe that we need to do some form of exercise which help us mentally, since we are living in the world of today where stress has increased to such an extent that we get sick & bring about all sorts of illnesses on ourselves. I'm sure A.Blanche & others will benefit from it. Mental health is as important as physical health, in fact mental health leads to physical well-being (at least that's what I read & have experienced in my simple day to day living)

I shall just stick to my yogic deep breathing & relaxation exercises which have helped me no end & prevented me from reaching the loony bin. I'm not joking this time - check out my sentence, there is no"he he!" nor "ha ha!" at the end of it.

I'm getting back to my grindstone now - yeh it's Easter Sunday but in this part of the world all of us are working.. however I will enjoy Easter Dinner with friends after I've attended mass at 7 p.m.

May the joy & peace of the Risen Lord be with you all
Annette
