Konkan Fruit Fest By Anonymous on May 7, 2006 - 11:50am It is nice to find this site after a few abortive attempts. The Konkan Fruit Fest has received overwhelming response this year and the credit should rightly go to Ms.Christina de Souza from Saligao who is the Secretary of the BSG. She has moved the mountains to have the show in place almost on her own as the President[ yours truly, Miguel] was busy facilitating a Writeshop for a team from NEPED under an IDRC-Canada programme for the last 20 days. A new event manager for the KFF has just 'arrived' on the scene. Dr. Ajit Shirodkar and Dr. Heman Y.Karapurkar continue to guide the KFF towards linking people, agencies and groups for enhanced productivity, better PHT, better processing , storage and marketing. The Valedictory function will have H.E. Mr. S.C. Jamir, the Governor of Goa, Madame Alemla Jamir and Mr. P.G.Kakodkar[ former Chairman of GPSC and SBI] on the dais to give away the prizes.
