This posting of Rico's reminded me of times gone by... we & the neighbours
used to discuss our livestock, (pig, chickens, hens, & our pets - cats,
dogs, squirrels & birds), state of their health etc. & ponder over the death
of some of them & conclude accordingly the reason for such...

Incidentally, the Government of Goa has a Government Piggery Farm at Curti
(Ponda). They're >officially promising to sell piglings for breeding
purposes -- at the rate of Rs 40 per kg of live weight
subject to revision, at the farm premises.......I wonder how many people
know of this possibility of >take advantage of the scheme. --
