Saligaonetter Sanjiv Trivedi is a great photographer! Have you seen his monsoon photographs? So is Louis "Boxer" D'Souza, now a photography pro in Australia.
I enjoy photography quite a bit, and go back to it everytime a new digital camera or Flickr.com account or new broadband connection allows me to. But I'm not a professional, and sometimes just take photographs to illustrate my articles. Only recently I upgraded to a 17" colour monitor, and that encouraged me into uploading a lot more photos. Of course, all my collection on the Net (2000+) is sharable and copyable freely for non-commercial purposes. Kodak, in the old days, had some great booklets giving tips on how to use your camera. They often spoke about avoiding photos when the sun was overhead, say between 10 am and 2 or 3 pm. Late evening and early morning sun is much more subtle. In addition, the monsoon cloud-filled sunshine also sometimes throws up very interesting hues. --FN On Tue, 2006-07-04 at 07:15 +0000, ANNETTE D'SOUZA wrote: > Hi SaligaoNetters > > Hope you all are doing well & weathering the weather in your part of the > world. > > Had a look at some of the pictures - Rico's pictures on Saligao. > > Hey Rico, they are nice pictures especially of the Church.
