A Quennie was one of the persons who returned to Saligao in the 'seventies and lent a lot of vibrancy to the village. If I am not mistaken, she was behind some of those top concerts staged at Lourdes Convent at that time. Her husband, the late Col Edwin D'Souza, was a patient, gentle and children-friendly dentist, and actually ran his clinic from his home at Arrarim, Saligao for awhile.
