Incidentally, some of the major revenue earliers in our youth -- I
recall people queueing up to pay house tax, the dog tax, and the cycle
tax -- seem to be only of peripheral interest. Of course, we would all
like to get the best of facilities in the village. But how can we do
this without being willing to pay our fair share, and also monitoring
how this money is allocated and spent? More details and discussion is
welcome. Anyone being using the (fairly powerful-but-subvertable)
