the boring villages! What a pity!

Rico, I second that but I recall Vivian writing once before on this Net. I
gather that there are many sleeping (sorry, I mean silent) Netters.
And Annette, do post to keep the list alive :-) FN
Hmm! Perhaps my above sentences & adjectives will get the fingers of the
Netters moving??? he! he! I wait in anticipation! By the way, what happened
to Albert from Mapusa? No news of him on this Net (hence silent as nobody
is stirring up .......) & neither has he replied to my personal mails. Hope
he is ok! Guess like everyone else, he is busy!
Vivian, from which part of Saligao are you? Which Vaddo & which house? so
that we can connect you with the people we might know.
How was the Feast? Did the Saliganvkars pray for us all & did they enjoy
the Feast? Was there a procession to the Church from that small chapel after
the late Remigio Saldanha's house? I remember A.Peggy & others helping with
getting that small chapel decorated in yester years. And was it last year
that Albert Dacruz from Australia wrote about it? I heard from Fiona that
there was a fete etc. but didnt get much news. The telephone line was
bad....as usual!!!
This paragraph doesnt pertain to Saligao or Saliganvkars but to all Goenkars
as we will soon be celebrating the Feast of St. Francis Xavier on 3rd Dec.
Guess most of the Saliganvkars have already made a trip to Old Goa & paid
homage. Here, we will be celebrating the day with a special mass in Konkani
at 8 p.m. offered by the Young Goans Club. The celebration in the form of a
Dinner/Dance
will take place on 7th Dec. since it is a weekend.
I take this opportunity to wish all Saliganvkars & Goenkars - Happy Feast
