trying to hatch eggs by placing them in a refrigerator
not connected to any electricity (!),

huh! Smart even then, didnt want to waste current eh? hey hey! Guess you were not into machines & electrical equipment then......would have been smarter if you had tried to get the eggs hatched by placing them under those pillows you used for pillowfights.

and attempting to smoke during a
school picnic to Dona Paula and Miramar when seven years old!

Oops, that young! Proves that appearances are deceptive...... & perhaps Ricky & Diego were the older & bad examples/influence - ha ha!

Sorry about that typo. It should read 'pudde' (that's the Konkani
name). A kind of inverted pyramid, packed in a jack-fruit leaf.
Anyone else remember that? FN

Ok! Yes I remember those pudde very well, almost same ingredients as patoyo & same time they were made. & the jackfruit leaf was stitched with a piece of broomstick. My granny made the lot. One of our Salcete friends sent some patoyo & pudde here to us - just 4 pieces, we enjoyed & savoured them. Hey I'm hinting. Any of you Saliganvkars know someone getting to Bahrain in the near future, do send with them 1 patoyo & 1 pudde/puddo (which is the right spelling anyway?), Luwell & I will share it exactly 1/2 of each. Just call the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel & ask for me, or better still, just get it delivered to me right here then I dont have to share with Luwell, will just gobble it & he wont be any the wiser.

PS: I've just finished editing a book called "Domnic's Goa" that talks
about the Goa that was 50 to 60 years ago. See

Yep, read about this. I seem to be the receiptient of articles & excerpts from Goanet. I dont recall joining it at all but there are some interesting bits & pieces to be read.

Regards
Annette
