HOME DEPT (Gen), Secretariate, Porvorim, Goa STATE POLICE COMPLAINT AUTHORITY NOTICE The Government of Goa, in pursuance of the specific directions of the supreme court of India has constituted the State Police Complaint Authority. Its very purpose is to take cognizance and get investigated only allegations of serious misconduct by the Police personnel which would include incidents involving death, grievous hurt or rape in Police custody. The Authority will also inquire into allegations of extortion, land/house grabbing or any other incidents involving serious abuse of authority.
