Appreciative of your efforts.....thanks for reading my mail vis-a-vis bus
routes, thought it got lost in cyberspace. Fiona will be pleased ...at
least it is a start, complaints have fallen on deaf ears as usual.
Looks like you have the know how & the info. I've read of this Right to
Information Act & heard of it on T.V. on a chat show -" Koffee with Karan"
wherein Shabana the actress said something about it but I'm not familiar
with the procedures. You sure are showing the way... Eagerly awaiting
further developments...Inshallah, something will come through???

Sub: Application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act
No. 22/2005).
I wish to apply for the following information, under the Right to
Information Act (Central Act 22 of 2005):
* List of timings of all buses plying via the village of SALIGAO
(Bardez), on the Mapusa-Calangute, Panjim-Calangute, Mapusa-Betim or
any other route.
* Number of additional buses and timings introduced via this village
over the past ten years?
* Whether any applications or requests have been received for
increasing the number of buses passing through this village, specially
on the Saligao-Panjim (via Sangolda) route, and if so by when are more
buses expected to ply on this route?
I am herewith paying the application fee (Rs 10) by way of affixed
court fee stamp. If you are of the view that the above requested
information does not pertain to your department, then please follow
the provisions of Section 6(3) of the RTI Act 2005.
Also, as per the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, kindly provide the
details (including name and designation) of the first appellate
authority w.r.t. your reply to the above request, before whom I may,
if required, file my first appeal.
