The Christmas Tree of the Saligao Institute will be organised on December 22, 2007, for children of members and their guests, upto the age of 12. The programme starts at 5.30 pm with a "varied and exciting program of events", says a notice from general secretary Elsa D'Souza and vice-president Asha Lobo. And "Santa Clause will give away the presents brought by the parents of those children participating in the Christmas tree". Of course :-) Hand over presents at the Saligao Institute Library not later than December 20, 2007, Monday to Friday, from 5.30 to 6.30 pm.
To cover expenses, members' children will be charged Rs 30 per head, and guests' children will have to pay Rs 50 per head. Hand over names by Dec 15, 2007.
