My Christmas wish this year is for our roads in Saligao to be lit by solar lighting. It just seems stupid that we dont exploit this resource more in Goa...Pena de Franca have solar lighting why dont we? I am going to investigate! Wouldnt it be wonderful to be a 'model' village and have solar lighting making our roads much, much safer throughout the village.... a couple of SLOW DOWN THROUGH OUR VILLAGE - WE LOVE LIFE! wouldnt go a miss on the Chogm Road and the Calangute Police Station-Mater Dei-Arrarim Road. The bus drivers who use this route should be up for attempted murder at the speed that they tear through the village. Anyone who can help me on my mission by way of suggestions/contacts please do step up to the plate....(privately is fine...) Wishing you all the very best for Chriatmas and the New Year Helene
