Dear Luke and Annette, I agree whole-heartedly with you both.
The very large number of Goans here in the UK and Europe ( about 1 million in Portugal) speaks volumes for itself. Also migration makes a place more vibrant...just look at London, New York, Toronto and is indeed an economic boost for the residents not to mention the cultural diversity. To a certain extent we see this in Dubai and Abu Dhabi too alohough you can migrate there. Having said this I would add that migration can be a double edged sword...if the wrong types of people are let in then there could be trouble like the UK, France, Sweden are now facing. I have always believe that only those people who can assimilate into their chosen society.
