I have a number of application servers which I need to check to see if
there is a memory dump being created on them. Hence, I would like to run a
Servers Alive check to monitor the directory for these specific files and
alert if there is one less than 15 min old (i.e just been created).

AreYouUp.exe seems to fit the bill, but it's got me scratching my head over
getting it working.

Firstly, how to I implement a check in Servers Alive that will run AreYouUp
on a remote machine ? If I create an external check, there is no where to
put in the remote machines username/password.

Secondly, setting up a check in Servers Alive to check a file on the
Servers Alive machine always returns an error code of 0, no matter how old
the file is. I create an external check which runs <PATH>areyouup.exe c:
\rt.txt and set it to error if the errorlevel is = 0. No matter what I do,
it always shows an error.

Can anyone help ?

Best wishes
