I am also having a slight problem installin this.. I going to reboot the NT
server its being used on just incase.. but I am getting a message about
"The ordinal 6466 could not be located in the dynamic link Library
MFC42u.dll"
this had a header of "OleMainThreadwndName: GLJ16.tmp - ordinal not found"

Compare this to a TCP check that connects to the port and if
the connection
works flags it as being up.
With UDP you can't connect to a port, so the most used way
to check a UDP
port is to send something to the UDP port and IF you get an
ICMP frame back
saying that the port is unreachable then you assume it as
being down. If
you don't get anything back you assume it as being up. BUT
most firewalls
for example will stop that ICMP frame from coming through
and thus it will
look like all UDP ports that you check through a firewall
are up. That's
also in the readme file that is included with the install.
