Thanks, I found that there had been a copy of version 2 on that system at one time, which would explain this.

A quick bypass is to create an empty file in C:\Program Files\Salive\alive.txt Other quick bypass is to delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers Alive\StartUp\HostFile And you did one of the two rerun the install.
