Testing the hostcheck by doubleclicking on it is working fine, and produces
a normal access-accept being generated. The cycle check tho is throwing up
something a bit odd ...
It sends 2 access request packets - the first gets accepted, and the second
gets ignored - hence the timeout in SA methinks.
Example log from radius:
Tue Jul 16 12:00:01 2002: INFO: AuthTEST handle_request: Received from
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 1077
Tue Jul 16 12:00:01 2002: DEBUG: Access accepted for xxxxxxxxx
Tue Jul 16 12:00:02 2002: INFO: Duplicate request id 0 received from
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: ignored
Any ideas why SA would be sending 2 access-request packets instead of one
during a cycle-initialised check ?
I can tell our radius server to allow duplicate packets if need be, but it's
always been set to ignore, and I'd rather leave it that way as we do a lot
of proxy radius authentication for external clients.
Cheers,
Carl
