It works perfectly on VMWare.

Remember that you will need a license for each copy of Servers Alive that will be running. (and also for VMWare and for the OS)

The "other email address" is if you want to send an SMTP mail to another address then the default TO emailaddress.  Putting a commandline in there (for MAPISEND) won't work.

What you're trying to do isn't possible.  Also running multiple instances of Servers Alive on one system won't work.

I am using the OTHER mail feature and mapisend to send alerts to exchange e-mail groups.  Example:

Exchange alerts-->Exchange e-mail group
SQL alerts-->DBA e-mail group

I cannot use SMTP (MAPI is much more reliable in our org).  I am trying to accomplish this on one dedicated box running SAlive.  Obviously I can run multiple copies of Salive and accomplish this, but would prefer not to do so.

The "Other" e-mail address option under Primary and Secondary SMTP (Alerts-SMTP) does not appear to work in conjunction with the (mapisend) Other mail option.  Do you know of a way to send alerts (using mapisend) to multiple e-mail groups based upon the check?
