Check http://www.novell.com/products/netmailxe/

It is Novell's Netmail but the small business version. Does not require Netware or
Edirectory. Runs on xp/2000 allows sync with palm and pocket pc. Comes with a
webmail interface or can use any standard pop/imap client.

It has calendaring so if you need it, it is there.

Guys, forgive the off-topic-ness of this question. I know this was
discussed 2 months ago or so, but now it's in my best interest to find a
solution. We're looking to ditch GroupWise 5.5 and look for something we
can use Outlook with. I say it that way, because I'm not sure we would
utilize Exchange to the extent that would justify it's cost. I have about
65 users, and no calendaring is needed. I only need standard email
functions (sent item tracking, etc.), email distribution groups, system
administered address book, remote access (via dialup, web browser, etc.) Is
there something (Windows based) that I should take a look at, other than
Exchange?

Thanks guys.
