Dirk, I have been told that sometimes you get a conflict between SSL2 and SSL3/TLS1 which causes the web page to come back as Page cannot be displayed.
We have had some errors we where this has happened by checking a page that uses SSL2 rather than SSL3. We have not confirmed that this is the actual problem as of yet, but this is what they have given as to the cause. The log entry I get is:- 11 December 2002 15:42:56 URL check (https://extranet.federal-mogul.com/epopims) failed due to [118] (no description available) 11 December 2002 15:42:56 Sending email message (CZ-1-eConnect Website is DOWN) I am not personally convinced that this is the problem, yet I cannot discount something I do not know anything about. I am just investigating some options for future reference.
